Townlands Free is the simplest—and completely free—way to use Scout.

As you travel, it identifies the official townland you are passing through and can speak each new townland name aloud. The screen also shows:

• The official number of mapped townlands in that county
• The total number across Ulster
• How many different townlands you have crossed during your journey

The journey count resets when you begin your next trip.
