Insulated screed option

Based on information obtained today, Alpha Quarry Products are leading supplier of this lightweight screed product having poured 6,000m2 (600m3) in the past 5 weeks alone.

Product is a light weight thermal aggregate manufacture by Energy Store who undertake the pumping of the cavity wall insulation for social housing all over UK and Ireland , ALPHA purchase insulating material and then mix and supply it under ALPHA quarry full accreditation for screeds and concrete.
Product has been all around Europe for 37 years , all BS standards , fire proof and sound proof as well as thermal. Over 10million + m3 laid
Only new to UK and Ireland market as Energy Store have become the 46 franchise.
Building Control and NHBC have seen it and have no issues.

Has anyone experience in using the above products on schemes in Northern Ireland or Ireland generally, especially with timber framed dwellings?

This product was tabled today at a progress meeting as an alternative to tradional insulation layer followed by separate screed operation.

Appreciate any feedback as approximately 1,700m2 area over 34nr dwellings under discussion. Any firm interested in quoting for supply and lay, please advise asap!
