Beware of hackers gaining access to your computers and stealing pictures, contacts etc and attempting blackmail, clearing your bank accounts and demanding bitcoin payment.
Received one such email last evening which coincided with a payment into business bank account. Coincidence ?
Blackmail emails may follow to those listed computer contacts.
Change passwords and upgrade protection software.
The scary part was quoting one of our old passwords!
Whilst this scenario played out last night, there was aspects that did not fit. Apart from not visiting such sites (strict controls from EE for family) and more particularly, having no webcam fitted.
