QUINTIN QS ( Kevin Barry) appointed to cost manage the construction of the proposed new Health & Wellbeing Centre as an extension to their existing facilities.

With pre-opening event this evening at 5.30pm on the 6th May 2018, below are a selection of final progress photos. Coulter Construction have reached practical completion stage on time and within approved budget. Coulter Construction also carried out certain aspects of works free of charge as a gift to Ballygalget GAC.

Late night finishing works ahead of completion this weekend

 

Steps and paving leading to pitch level complete. Protective layer, decorative stones and planting to complete flower beds this coming week.

Existing club house painting works may be carried out via Coulter Construction this coming week.

In tandem with Extension works, main pitch undergoing repairs with Haffey Sportsgrounds carrying out works. Scarifying complete and application of approx 150 tons of sand to commence Monday.

Works nearing completion. Steps formed to pitch level and grass turfing underway at present. Boundary wall repairs and decoration planned.

Views of works earlier today. Ceiling fitters on site to complete first floor suspended ceilings today.

Building currently drying out ahead of final wall/floor decorations. Lift installation complete.

Works progressing well and aiming for May opening as planned.

Zinc cladding in position. Certain windows fixed in. External plastering works to commence. Interior works progressing on schedule.

Final roofing works commencing tomorrow Monday 29th January 2018. Edgeline Roofing applying Trocal membrane and Zinc cladding.

Works progressing well and on programme.

Roofing making progress. Trusses in place and braced. Edgeline Roofing due next Monday 28th January 2018 to apply Trocal roof covering etc. Once windows in place, building shall be watertight and during process of drying out, other trades can carry on with their work.

Coulter Construction undertaking works with official start made on 30th September 2017. Anticipated completion April/May 2018. Contract between Ballygalget GAC and Coulter Construction signed off and Valuation 1 certified today.

1. Power NI on site, trenching complete and moving electricity pole works complete!

Detailed M&E proposals and marking out to be discussed and agreed with Client once walls erected.

Hoped that first floor level be reached during November 2017.
